Donald L. Hoppe, age 71, of LaGrange Park. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Treadway). Loving father of Doug (Cheri), Curtis, Eric and Darrin (Heidi) Hoppe. Dear step-father of Elaine (Brian) Weinberg and Elizabeth (Michael) Chapiesky. Adoring grandfather of Jeremy and Jessica Hoppe and Brendan, Kevin and Olivia Rose Weinberg. Fond brother of Harold (Margaret) Hoppe and Mary Lou (Michael) Larsen. Uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Proud 51 year member of the IBEW Local #134, 41 year Blue Lodge Mason King Oscar Lodge in Chicago, 23 year member of the Shriners and the Scottish Rite.

Friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Cermak Road (2 blks. W. of Manheim Road) Westchester on Wednesday August 12 from 3pm until 9pm. Friends are asked to meet on Thursday August 13, 2009 at the Westchester Community Church 1840 Westchester Blvd. Westchester for a 4pm funeral service with Pastor Joseph Mills officiating. Don will lie-in-state at the church from 3pm until 4pm. Cremation will be private.
